(More customer reviews)I at first bought this from a local merchant not through amazon, boy what a mistake. They messed up my order didn't send me all that I ordered and then I couldn't get them to respond to my emails. No such problem with amazon, I've used amazon for a long time and I've had problems before but they always resolved them quickly to my satisfaction. Now to the product. It works very well, My only complaint is that there are no instructions at all. It took a lot of time hooking up and unhooking to get the flow sensor adjusted correctly. Some instructions as to the inlet and out let as well as wiring and flow sensor adjustment would have been nice. This part was being used in a custom application not as a direct replacement and so I needed that info. The product it self is great thought.(thus the rating)

RugBuddy 165w Under Rug Space Heater (3' x 5') Review

(More customer reviews)Bought the rugbuddy to warm the oriental carpet in my attic office.We have a 100 year old house with cold wood floors, and thought this would be just the trick.

After getting the rugbuddy set up under my carpet and turning it on, I was surprised how long it took to warm the carpet and floors - at least 4 hours.But this is probably a function of how much cold floor it has to warm.After leaving it on for a full day, my workspace was warm and toasty, and even my shoes would get warm while I work.I guess that's pretty good for 165 watts of heating.

I would love it if Rugbuddy sold a carpet pad to go under the heating pad, ideally with foil facing - this would definitely help it to warm faster and send more heat upward.

All in all, a very good purchase.

(More customer reviews)After searching the local home improvement stores, I ordered this heater in Almond from Amazon.com.Apparently, all of the local stores carried other brands that only came in white or would not order an off-white color even if available.
The heater was fairly easy to install, but the length did cause some handling problems that some wooden blocks took care of.After installation, the heater did have a pronounced "hum" that the Cadet website says is rare and that it can be exchanged at the local store.Well, this turns out to be a problem with web orders!The people at ace hardwareoutlet.com were helpful to resolve this issue and I just received the replacement unit that is waiting to be installed.

Electric baseboard heaters uses convection to circulate air. By superior design and proper placement under a window area, the electric baseboard case causes air to flow naturally. The cold air falls from the window area as the warm air rises from the heater, causing the air to tumble gently throughout the room. The electric baseboard heater is the number one choice for low cost installation, and the quiet operation makes it the preferred heater for bedrooms.The best location to install a electric baseboard heater is when placed under a window and at least 1" from furniture or other objects. Keep at least 12" minimum from objects hanging above. The electric baseboard heater may be placed directly on the floor and mounted to the wall, but not below electrical outlets. (National Electric Code)Cadet heaters are UL Listed. Case, cover, and deflector are made of 24 gauge steel with 20 gauge junction box. Product Dimensions are 6.75"H x 2.5"D x Various (See Product Title above)A matching single or double pole thermostat is available to install into either end of the baseboard heater. (More customer reviews)I purchased this fan through Unbeatable Deals and was dissatisfied with it. I was looking for something with a little more power.When I contacted them I discovered I was only a few miles from their return center.

I inquired if I could drop off the item at their return center and got a curt and flat know.They stated that they needed a paper trail (their own invoice and a letter from myself not being good enough).

I am physically disabled and do not drive.The cost of transportation, cost for shipping, and other related costs would come to more than half the cost of the item to send this back.

I'm very dissatisfied with this company and the product which I took to be a more power fan (about the same as my honeywell which I paid about half the price for).

Buyer beware on this one.
