The MH40NG is highly efficient and cost effective radiant garage heater. Its quiet, clean, odor free operation directly heats people and objects which in turn heat surrounding air to the desired temperature. Heater is thermostatically controlled and requires no electricity to operate. There are no moving parts so maintenance is kept to an absolute minimum. This CSA certified heater will heat up to 850 square feet and comes with a limited one year warranty on the controls and a pro-rated five year warranty on the burner assembly.

(More customer reviews)We have purchased a large quantity of these fans for use at mountain-top communications sites that can get pretty chilly in the winter months.Over the years, these have proven to be very robust, dependable heaters.They are also great camping heaters in that, on the LOW setting, the fan does not kick on and off, or run at all.If you're a light sleeper, this allows you to sleep, while still getting plenty of radiant heat with a thermostat setting.The LOW setting is enough to keep a 24-foot trailer nice and warm inside while outside temperatures are in the 40's.The low setting is also nice since it is not drawing much current through your trailer's electrical wiring. These are sturdy heaters and I can't recommend them highly enough.

(More customer reviews)As a service provider, here was a recent and typical service call on a 74 model. the customer lives 1 1/4 hr away, call Sat with an error code 11. this had been in service for 3 months and worked fine, then quite. Rheem requires as a service provider, that I call in, get a case number and proceed from there. They are available Sat for tech support but good luck waiting on the phone. I came back Monday, trip number two, talked through two levels of tech support. I didn't agree with their assessment and they sent an ignition module. Wed, tripthree, I installed the part and it. I tried to explain, it was most likely a control board and gas valve combined problem and the tech, she didn't think so. after 9 commbined hors of driving and attempts at service, the customer was left with a still non functioning water heater. I've been working on these for about 30 years but when I have to work according to their at a distance analysis, reading a prompter, service fails. They do not have a system of regional parts available and are not willing to allow me to purchase and stock these.
so if you are considering purchasing a tankless water heater, a little due diligence with regards to service will save an enormous amount of heartburn...
Paloma and Rheem need to create a service network that supports those in the field who will be performing warranty work. Until that day arrives, I do not recommend these...

(More customer reviews)Not too many 240V heaters out there.THis one works well, throws out a lot of heat.It does not "blast" you with hot air - the fan seems to force the air out at a "medium" speed.I got it to quickly heat up the room when coming home from work and it certainly does that!

Gave it 4/5 stars because I thought you could adjust the fan speed - you can not.It does have a thermostat to regulate the unit on and off .THere are no "hi/med/low" type of settings for the heat - you just turn the thermostat knob and feel the heat. Overall great little heater.
